Arrival by Public Transport: Arrival by public transport is strongly recommended. The university building is located next to Lucerne main train station, behind the KKL.
You can find the appropriate connection from your location to Lucerne at www.sbb.ch.
Arrival by Car: We recommend not travelling by car, as parking options in the immediate vicinity of the university are limited and relatively expensive. If you do travel by car, we recommend using the Parkhaus Bahnhof Luzern or the KKL car park, both within walking distance of the university.
Please allow enough time before the start of the conference to ensure a stress-free arrival!

Registration Desk
Wednesday: Registration desk in front of Lecture Hall 1 (ground floor), from 8.30 a.m.
Thursday: Registration desk in front of Lecture Hall 1 (ground floor), from 8.00 a.m.
At the registration desk you will receive the programme and information regarding the parallel sessions (printed).
The abstracts for the workshop, oral and poster presentations are available in the «Conference Agenda» via the event management system.
Please note that you must log in to your registration account to view this information.
Catering: Food & Beverages Food and drinks are provided throughout the conference; please see the programme for details. Coffee breaks take place in the University Mensa, «Foyer» area (ground level).
Lunch is served as a set menu of the day – please note that there is no buffet. It includes a side salad and a drink in a 0.5-litre PET bottle and can be collected at the self-service canteen. Vouchers will be provided on both days upon registration.
Please look out for the staff that will guide you to the catering stations for the conference participants. Food taken from other stations or outside the breaks is not included in the conference fee and must be paid for separately.
Evening Programme: Boat tour – only with pre-booking
The boat will depart from the area around Europaplatz, close to the KKL Lucerne. The exact departure pier will be confirmed at the conference. It is a one-minute walk from the University of Lucerne.
7.00 p.m. – Boarding
7.20 p.m. – Departure
9.20 p.m. – Return to the pier
10.00 p.m. – Official end
Simultaneous Interpretation
Keynote Sessions:
The keynote sessions I and III are held in German and will be simultaneously translated into English. Headphones will be provided onsite.
Parallel Sessions:
For the first time, the oral sessions will be translated using AI. The translation is provided via the Accessify web app. QR codes in the individual rooms will take you directly to the translation – no app download and no login are required. You can also access the translation directly at https://app.accessify.live/events/evt-f7bsh6kc9.
Please note: the workshops will not be translated.
Please bring your own headphones and make sure you have a working internet connection.
The translation can be read or listened to.

WLAN
Free Wi-Fi is available on the university campus (e.g. eduoroam).
If you do not have an account with eduroam, you can connect to the public WLAN using SMS registration: Link
Step 1: Connect your device to the “public” WLAN network at the University of Lucerne.
Step 2: An internet browser with a landing page opens automatically. If this is not the case, open the landing page manually via https://mpp.hslu.ch.
Step 3: Click the register button, enter your telephone number, accept the terms of use and click the Request access code button.
Step 4: You will immediately receive an SMS with the access code. Enter the code and complete the registration with the Submit registration button. Your device is then connected to the internet.
Confirmation of Participation
You can download your certificate of participation with the credits from your registration account after the conference, provided that the participation fee has been paid and you attended the event.
